The summer months are a killer on the wallet: whether it be from paying for trips and vacations, unintended shopping sprees for tropical weather clothing, or just impromptu activity plans to take advantage of the warm weather. But while these expenditures seem to be natural and easy to control, some of the costs of summer come from natural changes in the economy that happen only in the summer months. For instance, severe storm threats change traffic routes, more people traveling and on the road create more demand for gas (jacking up the price!), and more cars on the road means more accidents which leads to higher insurance costs. So really, summer has some crazy affects on the economic infrastructure, which then hits you right in the bank account. This infographic gives a full overview of the different kinds of factors impact summer infrastructure – makes you want to live in a cooler climate eh?

Security is as important for mobile phones as it is for computers and tablets, as they are essentially small computers that we take with us everywhere we go, often sharing even more information through our phones than on other larger tech devices. But while mobile devices are becoming so widely used, the education about mobile security is severely lacking, leaving many of us at risk of cyber hazards. That is why we have Mobile Security 101, an infographic that covers all of the basics. Based on studies, it is estimated that three years from now there should be 500 million banking users and that Android malware increased by 400 percent within the past decade. People will also be using smartphones more often than they do their PCs. These statistics should put mobile security at the top of everyone’s priority list.
